In 2021, the Mount Carmel Community came together to settle one of the greatest debates in school history: who is the greatest athlete of all time? The stories shared as we evaluated the talented Alumni who have walked our halls sparked incredible conversation. 

With a nomination process followed by vote-in process, the list grew and Mount Carmel was abuzz with memories of incredible feats in nearly every athletic program in school history.

The greatest athlete of all time was revealed at the end of a Live broadcast where hosts Pablo Iglesias '13 and Jacko Carey '12 counted down the Top 25 Athletes and their accomplishments. Added to the broadcast were photos and stats of each athlete along with special video interviews with guests and student/alumni produced content.
